The forces of Tiamat- Queen of Evil Dragons -bring war to the Forgotten Realms. Led by the sinister Cult of the Dragon, an army of dragons and foul villains wage a merciless campaign to unleash their draconic God upon the world. Opposing them is a fragile alliance of The Harpers, The Lord's Alliance, The Order of the Gauntlet, The Emerald Enclave, and The Zhentarim. This fragile coalition needs heroes to unite them and find ways to resist the draconic threat. The people are frightened, with more and more abductions and raids being done on towns all throughout the Sword Coast. The leaders of the Sword Coast are desperate for a way to stop this threat. Do you have the courage to stand against the Cult of the Dragon and the threat of Tiamat's immortal tyranny?
Tyranny of Dragons combines two Dungeons and Dragons modules; "Hoard of the Dragon Queen" and "The Rise of Tiamat" into a single continuous campaign. For this version of it, your DM, Declan, has made some additional adjustments to the base module to enhance the roleplay experience.
This game is intended for adults (18+).

Meet the GM
Name: Declan Sullivan
Profile: "Hi, you can call me Declan or Riley (or both!), I use he/they pronouns, and I've been playing various TTRPG type adventures since 2014. I always put an emphasis on roleplay, player teamwork, and "rule of cool" in my adventures, trying to keep things fast, loose, and fun. I am constantly adjusting things on the fly to make sure every player at my table is involved in the action and in one another. I'm also a proud cat dad, artist, writer, and a player of Magic: the Gathering, which is something you've likely seen me playing at the store.Hello! I am a professor here at The Adventurer's Academy who loves D&D and letting one's imagination fly. I love hearing about player backstories and weaving them into my narratives. To me, table top roleplaying is about telling a story where all parties involved get to have fun. The players ultimately drive the story. You can find me most days hanging out at the Academy playing MtG or being a friendly face behind the counter."
Contact: You can reach your GM on the Academy's Discord server (getdecked) or by e-mail.
