We run events every day that we're open. Check our event schedule for details.

For games like D&D with high demand and limited seating, we strongly recommend purchasing your tickets before the event.

Of course! Our tables are open for free play as long as they're not needed for a scheduled event.

Due to space limitations, we do not currently take reservations for private, non-store sanctioned events. You're welcome to use any open table that's not needed for an official event, or join us for one of our store events!

We hope to be able to offer private gaming space in the future, so stay tuned.

The best way to keep in touch is to join our Discord server. That's where we share most of our news about new events and products.

You can also keep an eye on our event schedule, or just stop by to see us in person!

We currently purchase singles for Magic: The Gathering & Flesh and Blood. We'll take almost anything with a card value of $2 or more. We also buy collections!

You have options!

The best way is to check our event schedule for one of our D&D 101 events. These sessions are designed specifically with new players in mind, with simplified rules that let you start playing right away!

You're also welcome to join one of our regular D&D games. All of our DMs are happy to work with new players. To avoid getting too complex, we'd recommend looking for a game with characters starting at third level or lower.

Finally, if you want to get started at home, we carry the official D&D Starter Kit and Essentials Kit, and we're happy to give you tips to start learning with your friends and family.

We run an exclusive learn-to-play scenario that was designed specifically for new players at the Academy! Because it's a one-on-one session, we recommend joining our Discord server and reaching out directly to Justin (Lumir#9142) to schedule a time to play.

Our community is welcoming and is always happy to help a new player get started. We'd recommend coming to the Academy during our Commander event on Wednesday evening. A community or staff member can help teach you the basics, then you're welcome to borrow a deck and try your hand at a few casual games.
