This adventure revolves around the Arcane Academy, a college for adventurers set in a big city full of intrigue and mystery. Join the Academicians for two episodes of high-magic hijinks, unforgettable moments, and furious action! College Hill is a relatively quiet district of Blackangel packed with ambitious students and libraries of half-forgotten lore. However, a series of book thefts have Ellie Finnbuckle, headmistress of the Arcane Academy, concerned. She has tasked you, the dedicated educators and talented students of the school for talented adventurers, with finding the perpetrators and bringing them to justice. One ticket secures your spot at the table for both sessions of the campaign.
This campaign is intended for adventurers 14+. For younger adventurers (ages 9-13), check the schedule for one of our D&D for Kids sessions.

Plot Summary: The Arcane Academy was once a sort of storehouse for destructive artifacts left over from fallen empires and ancient wars. In her new role as headmistress, Ellie Finnbuckle has identified these dangerous antiquities and enlisted your help to recover these elements. This campaign will feature investigation, negotiation, exploration, and swashbuckling combat.
In the past, the Academicians have destroyed a dying alien brain pool and made their way home from a plot to kidnap spellcasters and trap them in the Shadowfell. The new mission surrounds a series of books with subjects and themes that point toward a sinister plot.
About the Dungeon Master: Your DM is Andrew Smith. Not only is he a skilled game master, he’s a former educator, a computer programmer, and a father. He’s a friend of the Academy and we know he will be your friend as well.
What to Bring: Please create your own third (3rd) level character, or arrive ten minutes early to choose a pregenerated character for this two-session campaign. If you’ve played in the world of Kyor before, you’re welcome to level up your character a little higher to fourth (4th) level and keep any magic items and wealth your character has won before. Dice and a miniature to represent your character would be welcome but are not required.
Please create your character using a combination of the Player's Handbook, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, and Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. Stats should use the point-buy system or the standard array. Characters may start with any non-magical equipment from the Player’s Handbook they can physically carry.
Players who share some character details with the DM in time for the game may choose from a list of magic items to start with. DAMAGES & ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we canevaluate the issue and make it right.
EXCEPTIONS & NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like used goods (such as pre-owned games or models), perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too.
