
Step out of the cold and into the warmth of the Academy, then be prepared to plunge ahead into the frigid depths of the sunless tundra that is Icewind Dale! This adventure sets you against fearsome monsters, shady characters, and the land itself. One ticket secures your spot at the table for four sessions of the campaign. This is an ongoing campaign that will be scheduled in blocks of four sessions. During the third session of each block, current players will be given the opportunity to sign up for the next four-week block, after which any open spots will be offered to new players.
This campaign is intended for adventurers 14+. For younger adventurers (ages 9-13), check the schedule for one of our D&D for Kids sessions.

Plot Summary: Icewind Dale has become trapped in a perpetual winter. Ferocious blizzards make the mountain pass through the Spine of the World exceedingly treacherous, and this land has not felt the warmth of the sun in over two years. In fact, the sun no longer appears above the mountains, not even in what should be the height of summer. In this frozen tundra, darkness and bitter cold reign as king and queen. Most Dale residents blame Auril the Frostmaiden, the god of winter's wrath. The shimmering aurora that weaves across the sky each night is said to be her doing—a potent spell that keeps the sun at bay.
Dalefolk live in a scattering of settlements known as Ten-Towns. The drop-off in caravans coming from the south and travel between settlements in this never-ending winter has left everyone feeling isolated. Although each town has resolved to appease the Frostmaiden with sacrifices of one kind or another, no respite from winter's fury seems forthcoming. For adventurers such as yourselves, Ten-Towns is a place to test one's mettle and, in the spirit of heroes who have come before, leave one's mark on this frigid, blighted land.
This adventure has a high level of intensity in its combat and wilderness encounters. We will be tracking things like rations and ammo. Actions will have consequences. The goal is to keep the player experience fun and light, while providing a gritty and challenging game.
About the Dungeon Master: Your DM is Ryan Thomas. A regular face around the Academy and a high school teacher, he's excited to journey with you to the far north and biting cold of this iconic setting. He enjoys open world adventures, morally gray character choices, and collaborative stories. Patience and respect for fellow players are key at his table.
What to Bring: Please bring your own third level character created using the Player's Handbook and one other official D&D source book (optional). Stats should use the point-buy system. If you'd like help creating your character, please arrive thirty minutes before your first session.

DAMAGES & ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we canevaluate the issue and make it right.
EXCEPTIONS & NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like used goods (such as pre-owned games or models), perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too.
